Quanex is looking to grow our Production Operator teams in Cambridge, OH. Become a Part of Something Bigger when you build a career at Quanex! 

The primary function of this role is to produce quality products with minimum scrap on the production lines .

We are urgently hiring!

Hourly Rate: starting at $18/hr. commensurate with experience + $1/hr. shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift. 

1st Shift: M-F- 6am-10am

2nd Shift: M-F - 2pm to 6pm

3rd Shift: Sun-Thu 10pm-2am

What Success Looks Like:

• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely
• Produce and use Material Identification labels 
• Identify quality material prior to packaging
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S Standards
• Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers

  Your Credentials:

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School or GED preferred
• Willing to work overtime including weekends
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis
