JOB SUMMARY: The program coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the given program, ranging from development, program content, scheduling, supplies, instruction, and implementation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Report directly to Recreation Supervisor. Work in cooperation with the Recreation Supervisor in scheduling of program dates, location, etc. Design, plan, and implement program content. Be capable to instruct all aspects of program, as well as oversee instructors or aides. Complete all accident forms and report to supervisor. Maintain for the safety of all participants. Maintain open communication with all staff and patrons of the program. Responsible for security, if applicable, and cleanliness of the program area at conclusion of program. Record all hours worked as directed by supervisor. Take attendance at each class and ensure that program waivers are signed by all participants. Physical demands may vary depending upon program being offered. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
