Our client is transforming insurance for emerging technology businesses. Specializing in providing cyber liability and other insurance protection within their focus including digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain, AI, robotics and other complex risks, our client is in search of senior level Underwriter to join the team.

As a Cyber/Tech E&O Underwriter, you will play a critical role in underwriting complex cyber and tech E&O risks for emerging technology companies. Based in Manhattan, you will be a key player in the growing company. This role demands a high level of expertise in the cyber market and an ability to navigate the evolving landscape of digital asset risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwriting Excellence: Execute risk selection, analysis, and service based on our strategic underwriting approach. Ensure profitable and sustainable underwriting practices for cyber risks associated with emerging technologies.
• Market Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in the cyber insurance market, staying ahead of technological developments and their implications, particularly in the digital asset sector.
• Internal Collaboration: Present risks to our internal underwriting committee and work closely with the CEO, COO, and Lead Cyber Underwriter to refine our underwriting function and strategy. Contribute to the enhancement of underwriting guidelines, policy forms, and endorsements.
• Broker and Partner Relations: Cultivate and expand relationships with brokers to enhance the flow and quality of submissions. Work with our insurance partners on endorsements and form changes.
• Claims Coordination: Collaborate with the COO and claims administrator to manage the claims process for your portfolio, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
• Client Engagement: Respond promptly to client requests, providing top-notch service and contributing to the retention of high-quality risks.
