District ManagerThe District Manager is responsible for leading a group of assigned stores within designated markets to drive profitable sales through Talent, Operations and Experience. Accountable for talent acquisition, development, and retention that supports operational excellence and an engaging experience in order to maximize sales. They demonstrate a Drive for results, are Accountable for their leadership and performance while being Collaborative and Courageous in communication.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAttract and retain talent to support the needs of the district, region and brandLead the talent acquisition, immersion, education, and retention of store managementFocus on continuous talent development to build succession of future leadersDrive profitable sales through effective business analysisIdentify operational and financial opportunities to address current business challenges and create action plans to deliver desired resultsTeach and develop leaders in operations and ensure consistency across stores within their districtPossess strong business acumen with the ability to flex, adjust and pivot to internal and external factors to drive resultsLead performance management through coaching and adherence to company standardsTeach and ensure visual merchandising to brand direction across marketProvide daily leadership that motivates teams to achieveTeach, develop and model exceptional customer in store interactionsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS5-8 years of relevant retail management experience3-5 years minimum of multi-unit leadership, preferably with a specialty retailerBachelor's degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent work experienceProven results in driving top-line revenue, creating hospitality focused customer experiences, and attracting, developing, and retaining associates at all levelsDemonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environmentConsultative skills/mindset and ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences including organizational leadersExperience working with managers on associate relationship issues, retention and associate engagement, talent assessments, and performance managementCRITICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESDrives for results and coaches for performanceBuilds trust throughout team while fostering inclusivityPromotes a solutions – based cultureLeads with a sense of empowermentCultivates a learning cultureVisual Merchandising backgroundHighly effective communicator (written and verbal)Warm, engaging and open to networking and recruiting talent at all times
