Process Operator (Manufacturing / Production) – Swing Shift

Renton, WA
Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
$22.50/hour

 

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Operator / Production Operator to support high-volume manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. This role is critical in maintaining production flow, equipment operation, material handling, and quality control .

Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or warehouse production environments and are comfortable working with production systems, forklifts, and industrial equipment .

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and route production orders through manufacturing processes based on daily schedules
• Operate manufacturing equipment, machinery, and grinders safely and efficiently
• Monitor and adjust production processes to maintain throughput and quality standards
• Perform quality control checks , inspections, and documentation (GMP or similar standards preferred)
• Accurately track production data, inventory, and materials using ERP or production systems
• Communicate with production teams, maintenance, and quality assurance to resolve issues quickly
• Handle material movement, loading/unloading, and staging (forklift or pallet jack as needed)
• Support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimization efforts
• Maintain clean and safe workspaces aligned with OSHA and workplace safety standards
• Participate in shift meetings, safety briefings, and production updates

Required Qualifications

✅ High school diploma or GED
✅ Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environments
✅ Ability to operate or learn production machinery and equipment
✅ Strong computer skills (data entry, Microsoft 365, ERP/MRP systems )
✅ Knowledge of production workflows, safety protocols, and quality standards
✅ Ability to lift 25 lbs. and perform physical, hands-on work throughout shift
✅ Comfortable working in industrial environments with varying temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, or Process Technician
⭐ Forklift certification or material handling experience (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack)
⭐ Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement
⭐ Previous lead or supervisory experience in production settings
