Housekeeping:

1. Cleans apartment of resident using vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, scrub brush, household cleaning

supplies and tools.

2. Cleans bathroom including tub, sink, toilet, wall; floors.

3. Clean kitchen including stove, refrigerator, sink, cabinets, counter, walls; floor.

4. Cleans living room, halls, bedroom, and closets, including walls and floors.

5. Dusts furniture, wipes shelves, closets; cabinets.

6. Changes bed linen, makes beds, washes and dries household laundry, folds; puts away.

7. Does dishes, pots, pans, etc.

8. Tidies up apartment, removes trash and debris and creates orderly and wholesome environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Graduation from high school or vocational/technical high school or possession of an approved high

school equivalency certification (GED).

2. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position

and to communicate effectively.

3. Knowledge of and experience in acceptable housekeeping practices.

4. The ability to meet with residents and to deal effectively and harmoniously with residents, coworkers,

and the general public.

5. The ability to make purchases for a resident, returning with the correct items and properly account for all

expenditures.

6. Possess a valid New Jersey driver's license and have good driving record.

7. Have a reliable source of transportation.

8. The willingness to attend meetings, seminars and training courses required by the Agency.

9. The willingness to assume other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
