It is a peaceful, scenic, community-oriented area with an abundance of amenities to suit every taste.Job Description And Position RequirementsScheduled Weekly Hours: 32Job Summary:Provide comprehensive and high-quality healthcare to women including routine obstetric and gynecological procedures, pelvic exams, pap smears breast exams, and monitoring patients throughout their pregnancy as well as providing medical consultation, patient counsel and support. The scope of services of diagnosing, managing, and treating diseases and issues related to women's health will include the ambulatory and inpatient settings.Minimum Qualifications:Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine.Medical Degree from an ACGME accredited schoolCurrent BLS, and ALS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off (ALS required by specialty only).Board Certification or Eligible for Board CertificationEpic experience a plusOther Skills And Abilities Qualifications:Practice-based learning and improvementPatient care and procedural skillsSystems-based practiceAppropriate medical knowledgeInterpersonal and communication skillsProfessionalismPhysical Demands: Must possess good physical health.
