HVAC Project Manager

After a decade or more in mechanical construction, you know what it looks like when a project runs well and when it doesn't. You probably also know what it looks like when that distinction doesn't matter much at the end of the year.Our client is a family-owned mechanical contractor based in Greater Boston, working across commercial, life science, and hospitality sectors. They have been been in business for over 2 decades with the same core team, a Local 537 workforce, and an in-house fabrication facility that keeps quality high and schedules intact. As a PM here, you run your jobs. There is no layer of senior PMs reviewing every action before you can act. And unlike most mechanical subs, your compensation is tied directly to how your projects perform.What you will be doing:Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout across commercial, life science, and hospitality workCoordinate with BIM and fabrication teams to keep design aligned with field executionLead owner and subcontractor meetings; manage RFIs, submittals, and change ordersTrack budget, schedule, and labor across multiple active projectsMaintain client relationships from award through warrantyWhat we are looking for:10+ years of project management experience with a mechanical contractorDirect background in HVAC installation or piping is requiredFamiliarity with the Greater Boston construction market and union labor preferredComfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and accountable for the financial outcome of eachPerformance here is recognized and rewarded, not just expected.If this sounds like the right move, get in touch.
