We are a growing, family-owned specialty food company looking for a dependable, hands-on individual who can work independently and handle a variety of responsibilities throughout our facility.

This is an ideal position for someone who is mechanically inclined, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is comfortable doing whatever is needed to help a small business operate efficiently. The right person will serve as our in-house handyman, assist with basic equipment maintenance and repairs, support warehouse operations, and help the production team during slower periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and basic repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical and equipment issues
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on machinery and facility equipment
• Assemble, install, or move shelving, workstations, equipment, and other facility items
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production environment
• Receive, organize, rotate, and move inventory and supplies
• Load and unload trucks and assist with outgoing shipments
• Break down cardboard, remove trash, and keep storage areas tidy
• Monitor maintenance supplies and notify management when parts or materials are needed
• Assist with food production, packaging, labeling, and order preparation during slower periods
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Identify problems and take initiative to resolve them without constant supervision
• Support other departments as needed in a small, team-oriented company

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, mechanical work, warehousing, manufacturing, or a related hands-on position
• General knowledge of tools, equipment, and basic repairs
• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting abilities
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work autonomously
• Willing to shift between maintenance, warehouse, and production responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday
• pallet-jack experience is preferred
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
• Food manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
