Bobcat of Indy - Indy North Bobcat of Indy - Indy North is looking for a detailed and organized Rental Yard Attendant to join our growing company. Monday - Friday Dayshift Responsibilities Preparing equipment which includes: washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs. Loading and unloading equipment which includes: proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns, documentation on condition, loading and unloading on trucks and trailers. Assisting customers and helping with all departments of the store. Sweeping and cleaning which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay, trash disposal, and maintaining store cleanliness. Preparing customer, rental, and sales machines by cleaning interior and exterior of all equipment. Always operate in and maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules and wear required safety PPE. Additional duties as assigned involving all branch departments, including but not limited to: sales, service, and parts. Qualifications Positive outlook and excellent communication High school diploma or equivalent preferred One year general labor experience is preferred Valid driver's license in good standing is preferred Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical. Ability to use technology and apps as a function of the role is preferred. Physical Requirements Physically able to operate construction equipment and forklifts. Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and around fumes & loud noise. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes and loud noise.
