Role Description: The Ecommerce Data Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and actionable analytics across our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Ecommerce business. This mid-level role will own recurring validation and reconciliation efforts, investigate discrepancies across source systems, warehouse tables, and Power BI outputs, and support the maintenance and enhancement of dashboards, semantic models, and reporting datasets. The ideal candidate brings solid hands on experience with SQL, Power BI, structured data analysis, and data documentation, along with the ability to troubleshoot data issues, communicate findings clearly, and partner with stakeholders to turn business questions into reliable, actionable insights. What you’ll do: Own recurring data validation and quality checks across reporting datasets, pipelines, and source systems. Investigate discrepancies between source systems, warehouse tables, and Power BI/reporting outputs. Perform routine SQL analysis and troubleshooting, including joins, aggregations, reconciliation queries, duplicate detection, and missing record investigations. Maintain and enhance existing Power BI reports and semantic models. Handle stakeholder requests for recurring reports, extracts, segmentation, and ad-hoc analysis. Document business logic, table definitions, pipeline dependencies, and reporting rules. Perform first-level troubleshooting on failed Azure/Synapse pipelines before escalating deeper engineering issues. Maintain data dictionaries and lightweight lineage documentation. Support QA for new datasets, dashboards, and pipeline changes before production deployment. What you’ll need: We’re looking for an experienced data professional with strong SQL, Power BI, reporting, and data validation skills. The ideal candidate can troubleshoot data issues, document business logic, and translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. E-commerce or direct-to-consumer (D2C) experience is preferred, especially with customer, order, marketing, web, subscription, or product data. Familiarity with e-commerce and direct-to-consumer （D2C business models. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field. 3+ years professional work experience Strong SQL fundamentals Basic Python skills, plus use of Jupyter Notebooks for EDA, and presentation. Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts Familiarity with cloud data platforms; Azure experience would be ideal. Understanding of APIs, requests, authentication, and JSON responses.
