Responsibilities Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence; keeps work area clean and in accordance with company policies; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in meat and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity by following applicable policies and procedures. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; looks for opportunities to improve and adapts to change.
