This Full-Time position operates during Nights, encompassing 36 hours per week.

About Us: Our Medical Surgical Step-Down Unit (SDU) is a vibrant 13-bed unit committed to delivering top-notch care to our patients. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4, our team ensures personalized attention and support for each patient throughout their recovery journey. Patients in our unit may present with various conditions including respiratory failure with BiPAP, sepsis management, severe electrolyte imbalances, and post-surgery care for thoracotomies/VATS, wedge resections, vascular procedures, and more.

Job Description: As a Registered Nurse in our SDU, you'll work three 12-hour night shifts weekly (36 hours total), with start/end times of 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including holiday and weekend rotations. An Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is required, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 6 months of hire, and we offer training and time to obtain certification after employment.

Requirements:

• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
