Location 79 Jefferson St HH Bliss Wing (10064) Shift Details RN – 36‑hour shifts, shift rotation possible. Job Summary Exciting opportunity to join the new Bliss Building PACU team. This brand‑new 10‑bay PACU unit provides 24/7 post‑operative care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical and interventional procedures. Responsibilities The PACU RN recovers patients from general and regional anesthesia and IV conscious sedation, requiring acute and ICU‑level care. The role requires teamwork, autonomy, communication, critical thinking, collaboration across disciplines, and flexibility to establish and facilitate interdepartmental workflows. Qualifications Current Connecticut RN License Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred Current BLS and ACLS certification required PACU and/or ICU experience preferred Training program available and required for step‑down and Emergency Department experienced RNs Benefits Competitive benefits program designed to ensure work/life balance.
