Your future role at a glance Location: Jacksonville, FL Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital Department/Specialty: Surgical Services Admin Schedule: Day | Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role Lead the assessment of clinical competencies and learning gaps to ensure the nursing team is empowered with the knowledge to provide exceptional patient care. Design and implement evidence-based educational programs that bridge the gap between clinical theory and bedside excellence. Create innovative instructional materials and teaching tools tailored to the specific needs of your patient population and staff. Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through measurable outcomes, ensuring our educational standards consistently drive clinical improvement. Document all educational progress and program success to maintain a transparent, high-quality record of professional development within the department. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Educator preferred. Educator specializing in Childbirth preferred. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
