Controller, Treasury & Shared Services

We are partnered with a private equity-backed, multi-entity services platform seeking a Controller, Treasury & Shared Services to lead and optimize centralized finance operations across a ~$500M organization. This is a highly visible leadership role overseeing Treasury, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Accounts Receivable/Collections , with responsibility for driving process discipline, improving cash flow performance, and building scalable infrastructure in a fast-growing, acquisitive environment. Role Overview This individual will lead a team of functional managers and a broader organization of 20+ indirect reports, partnering closely with finance and operational leadership across multiple business units. The role is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong emphasis on treasury, working capital optimization, and shared services transformation . Key Responsibilities Lead centralized shared services functions including AP, AR/Collections, Payroll, and Treasury Own treasury operations, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships Enhance working capital performance, including driving improvements in collections and reducing DSO Oversee high-volume AP and payroll operations across a distributed workforce Implement scalable processes, automation, and standardized workflows across functions Support M&A integration efforts, including onboarding acquired entities into shared services Partner with operational leaders to align financial processes with business needs Build, develop, and mentor a team while driving accountability and performance Ideal Background 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including shared services leadership Strong expertise across treasury, cash forecasting, and working capital management Experience in multi-entity and/or private equity-backed environments Track record of driving process improvements and system enhancements Exposure to M&A integration is highly preferred CPA strongly preferred Profile This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, systems-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and enjoys building structure, improving processes, and partnering across the organization to drive financial performance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
