Job Details Type of Opportunity: Part time (FTE 0.60). Job Exempt: No. Work Shift: Nights. Responsibilities All Certified Respiratory Therapist responsibilities. Assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures, monitoring consciousness, cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, delivering IV sedation agents (opioids, benzodiazepines, sedative hypnotics) and reversals. Initiate ventilator protocols; implement and coordinate ventilator management. Perform advanced airway care: tracheotomy changes, extubation, intubation. Initiate and monitor high frequency ventilators. In NICU: Perform surfactant delivery, intubation, attend high risk deliveries. Optional procedures: transport team, intubation, backup charge therapist. Initiate and monitor nitric oxide delivery. Perform department‑specific functions as detailed in the department summary. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree / Diploma / two to three years of college‑level courses in Respiratory Care. New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License. Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC. ACLS and/or PALS, BLS required. Six months to one year critical care experience preferred.
