What You Will Do
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist who excels in delivering care and compassion. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, communicating each step with empathy
- Partner closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure superior diagnostic imagery
- Effectively operate and maintain imaging devices, promptly addressing any issues
- Input accurate documentation and manage patient records within the electronic medical platform
- Remain informed on emerging techniques and best practices in ultrasound imaging
Education and Certification Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area
- Preference for those who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
Necessary Certifications
- Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
