We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our Bakery Plant located at 2323 Wirt Rd., Houston, TX 77055 USA.
SUMMARY The Maintenance Supervisor isresponsible for all maintenance and service functions in the Bakery Plant. Thisjob requires organizational and administration expertise for effectivelymanaging a team of subordinates to completion of projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned or required.

• Responsible for ensuring that all work and equipment is performed in a safe manner and that all PPE is worn as necessary.
• Ensures that all maintenance activities in a facility are appropriately carried out. Assures completion of all daily service /work orders.
• Keeps a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and tracks progress
• Complies with all safety norms and regulations set by the industry. Enforces and adheres to company policies, rules and regulations.
• Understands control wiring schematics, pneumatic and hydraulic controls as they are applied to Bakery production equipment.
• Leads and manages the maintenance activities and improvement projects in support of plant operational needs and goals.
• Manage and supervise the facility Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Manage the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes.
• Leads, directs, and assists managers and supervisors engaged in the daily operation of the production and maintenance departments.
• Work with Plant Manager on resolution of issues concerning facilities and equipment.
• Completes purchase orders and other documents for the procurement of spare and replacement parts.
• Presents proposals to the Director of Manufacturing regarding manufacturing lines efficiency goals
• Monitors performance of the facility by using reports and data
• Maintain confidentiality of all data encountered in work environment.
• Present favorable impression in dress, personal hygiene and business attitude.
• Other duties assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 Years of related experience, leadership in food manufacturing preferred.
• Continuous improvement mentality with a make-it-happens attitude
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
• Should have good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members.
• Ability to use power tools such as electric drills and angle grinders
  Bilingual English Spanish preferred.
