Job Summary The First Shift Laser Operator is responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC laser cutting machine to produce high-precision steel and armor plate components. Ideal candidates have experience with CNC operation and take pride in maintaining high tolerances. What You'll Do Operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting equipment to cut armor plate according to specifications Load and unload heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure high-tolerance accuracy Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshootingVerify material thickness and grade before beginning the cutting process Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines Experience with Trump CNC equipment is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail Experience with material handling equipment (overhead cranes/forklifts) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Why Work at Lenco Stable, full-time manufacturing work with consistent hours Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities Purpose-driven products that protect first responders and military personnel Modern facility with specialized equipment Long-term career growth within a growing U.S. manufacturer #J-18808-Ljbffr
