Treasure Valley ABA Inc is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide ABA services throughout the Treasure Valley as a 1099 independent contractor .

This position is designed for a BCBA who values flexibility, clinical autonomy, and the ability to manage their own schedule and caseload without traditional fixed shifts.

Responsibilities

BCBAs are responsible for the clinical management of the cases they choose to accept.

Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting functional behavior assessments
• Conducting skill and behavioral assessments
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Completing reassessments and treatment plan updates
• Providing protocol modification
• Supervising RBTs
• Reviewing client data and modifying treatment as clinically appropriate
• Providing caregiver training
• Coordinating clinical services with families and RBTs
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Completing documentation through Treasure Valley ABA’s designated CR Essentials / CentralReach system
• Ensuring services comply with applicable payer, BACB, Idaho licensing, and regulatory requirements

Scheduling and Caseload

Contractors determine their own general availability.

Treasure Valley ABA may offer available client cases, and the BCBA may accept or decline each case based on their availability and interest.

Once a case is accepted, the BCBA independently coordinates the clinical services associated with that case, including supervision, caregiver training, assessments, reassessments, and other authorized BCBA services.

There are no required office hours or predetermined shifts.

Compensation

$75–$85 per completed billable hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibilities.

Potential compensable services may include:

• BCBA supervision / protocol modification
• Caregiver training
• Assessments
• Reassessments
• Treatment planning
• Other authorized BCBA clinical services

Specific compensation terms are outlined in the independent contractor agreement before services begin.

Administrative Support

Treasure Valley ABA handles much of the non-clinical administrative workload, including:

• Client intake
• Insurance verification
• Authorization support
• Billing and claims submission
• RBT staffing support
• Credentialing administration
• Electronic health record infrastructure

Our goal is to allow the BCBA to focus primarily on clinical responsibilities while maintaining control over their schedule and accepted caseload.

Qualifications

Required

• Current BCBA certification in good standing
• Active Idaho behavior analyst license, or ability to obtain required Idaho licensure before providing services
• Master’s degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field
• Experience providing ABA services to children with autism and developmental disabilities
• Ability to independently manage clinical responsibilities
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Professional liability insurance
• Reliable transportation as needed for assigned cases
• Ability to meet applicable payer credentialing requirements

Preferred

• Experience supervising RBTs
• Experience completing FBAs and comprehensive ABA treatment plans
• Experience with CentralReach, CR Essentials, or similar ABA software
• Experience providing in-home ABA services

Independent Contractor Status

This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity .

Contractors:

• Determine their own general availability
• May accept or decline individual case opportunities
• Are not guaranteed a minimum number of clients or hours
• May provide professional services to other organizations
• Are responsible for their own taxes and ordinary business expenses
• Maintain their own professional credentials and liability insurance

Service Area

Services may be provided throughout the Treasure Valley, including:

Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, and surrounding communities.
