Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with fetal monitoring and NRP protocols to ensure maternal and neonatal safety.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Implement neonatal resuscitation procedures according to NRP guidelines.
• Administer medications and assist with clinical procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical assessments accurately.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in Labor and Delivery units.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Ability to perform fetal heart monitoring competently.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts; travel staff preferred to be adaptable.
