• Supervision: Physician supervision with a 1:4 MD-to-CRNA ratio
• Call: No call required
• Overtime: No overtime

CRNA Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• At least 1 year of CRNA experience required
• Experience with general anesthesia, orthopedic, and obstetric cases preferred
• Ability to work confidently in a collaborative anesthesia care team environment
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Willingness to obtain Virginia state licensure if needed

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review patient history
• Obtain and verify informed patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, benefits, and risks with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia safely and effectively
• Monitor physiological status throughout the anesthetic course
• Provide appropriate clinical intervention when needed
• Work collaboratively with supervising physicians and the anesthesia team
• Deliver high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of surgical case types
