NOW HIRING: Direct Support Professional Location: East Stroudsburg, PA Shift: Part-Time, Full-Time, Weekday, Weekend and Evenings, All Shifts Immediate Openings: Wednesday- Sunday 12am-8am Reliable transportation is required. A valid driver’s license and ability to drive are strongly preferred but not required. Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc. Job Duties Include Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing) Companionship Appropriate communication/social skilled Light housekeeping and chores Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills Meeting individual goals and outcomes Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.) Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Mobile Device & EVV Requirements This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements. Why Traditional Home Care?
