ICU - Registered Nurse

Schedule
- Shift type: Nights
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week (3x12) or 48 hrs/week (4x12)
- Weekend requirement: 3 out of 6 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- IL state license required at time of submittal
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIH/NIHSS
- Experience with CRRT/CVVHD, hypothermia protocols, ventilator management, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and post-cardiac surgery care preferred
- Familiarity with Swan-Ganz preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults in the ICU/IMCU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and make critical decisions related to patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with procedures such as line insertion and intubation as needed.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Compliance / Notes
- Fit testing: No facial hair that interferes with fit testing.
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only).
- Max 7 days RTO; no RTO allowed first week; all RTO must be finalized at submission.
