The Holistic Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity, serving patients within a hospice center setting. In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality clinical care, offering therapeutic support to clients dealing with chronic illness, end-of-life issues, and emotional distress. Our compensation package includes a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 104,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for new hires.

Work Environment\nThis position allows for a flexible work environment through remote engagements. Your interactions will primarily be via telehealth platforms, enabling you to connect with clients emotionally and therapeutically from the comfort of your home while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The remote structure supports a healthy work-life balance, essential to the well-being of both our employees and those we serve. Shift options may vary between 4x10 or 5x8 hour schedules during weekdays from 8 AM to 7 PM.
Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our hospice center, you will:

- Provide individual and family psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs. \n
- Conduct comprehensive client interviews to gather detailed social, personal, environmental, and health information. \n
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans that facilitate psychosocial wellness. \n
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment, considering both physical and emotional health. \n
- Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, employing short-term crisis resolution techniques and effective referrals to community resources as necessary. \n
- Document all interactions and treatment interventions accurately in compliance with organizational and regulatory protocols. \n
- Maintain an ongoing caseload, ensuring that all clients receive timely follow-ups and continued care as outlined in their treatment plans. \n
Your role will center on providing compassionate and informed care to a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing terminal illnesses and complex emotional challenges related to end-of-life issues. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring a respectful and culturally sensitive approach to therapy. Understanding the unique needs of each client will be essential in developing effective interventions that promote healing and acceptance during difficult times.
Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia. \n
- A minimum of four years’ experience in clinical practice, preferably within the mental health or hospice sectors. \n
While not required, candidates who have experience working with clients dealing with grief, chronic illness, behavioral health issues such as depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, as well as family therapy practices, will be especially well-suited for this position. Expertise in community resource navigation and support group facilitation will also be advantageous.
