A day in this role

You step onto the floor in Mars, PA at 3:30 PM, check your area, and confirm materials are staged. As bottles travel down the line, you scan for defects—holes, surface lines, water spots—ensuring only quality product is packed. You keep conveyors clear, prevent jams by keeping an eye on automated equipment, and call out issues fast. Throughout the shift you label finished goods accurately (date, shift ID, and color codes), operate the bagger when needed, record counts, and help with inventory. Before handing off at 11:40 PM, you tidy your zone so the next shift is ready to run.

Schedule & pay

• On-site at our Mars, PA facility
• Sunday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–11:40 PM
• $19.57 per hour plus a $2/hour shift differential for working 2nd shift

What you’ll do

• Inspect plastic bottles and pack only approved product into boxes
• Monitor automated machinery and intervene to prevent jams
• Notify your supervisor of bottle defects or equipment issues immediately
• Keep conveyors free of excess bottles and operate the bagger as required
• Signal when raw materials need replenishment
• Track bottle counts for the shift and complete basic records
• Apply correct labels (date, shift ID, color-coding) to boxes and bags
• Assist with departmental inventory activities and staging for the next run
