Security Officer Seasoned Driving Role
As a Security Officer Seasoned Driving Role in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and support access control activities. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service, clear communication, and dependable support through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, or access concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to control access, observe for suspicious behavior, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by assisting with visitor questions, following post orders, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
