Candidates joining Talon Industries can expect to work on complex, high‑impact infrastructure projects in a specialized field. Role Description The Superintendent is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Arlington, TX, responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day construction activities for fueling system projects. This position coordinates crews and subcontractors, manages the project schedule, and ensures work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Superintendent monitors field operations, conducts site walks, resolves on‑site issues, and communicates regularly with project managers, clients, and inspectors. The role includes tracking progress, verifying material and equipment deliveries, maintaining jobsite documentation, and supporting adherence to regulatory and client requirements. The Superintendent also promotes a positive safety culture and supports training and mentoring of field personnel. Qualifications Experience supervising construction projects, preferably in fuel‑piping, industrial, or heavy civil work, with strong field leadership and crew coordination skills. Knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and codes, including ability to read drawings, interpret technical details, and ensure installation quality. Demonstrated commitment to safety, with familiarity in OSHA requirements, jobsite safety practices, and risk mitigation on active construction sites. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, project managers, inspectors, and field teams, and to provide clear direction on site. Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, including scheduling, progress tracking, and documentation of daily activities and site conditions. Experience working with public sector or regulated projects (e.g., military, airports, energy facilities) is highly beneficial. Proficiency with basic computer and mobile tools for email, reporting, and project documentation; experience with construction management software is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training, trade school, or a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
