ResponsibilitiesHazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager near Houston, TX to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetingsComplete accident reports and conduct accident investigationsDaily safety audits and inspectionsOversee all subcontractors and contractorsOversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and ExcavationQualificationsMinimum 7 years direct construction safety experience requiredOSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR requiredOSHA 510 and or 500 is a plusCHST or CSP highly preferred Advance knowledge of construction safety standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skills required Proficient Microsoft Office skills Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, AccountabilityOverviewHazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
