Job Overview US Foods is seeking Logistics Truck Drivers to drive a tractor‑trailer between our distribution centers and vendors. Drivers travel 500‑2,500 miles per week with a focus on safety. Schedule Monday to Friday. Home daily. Start time will vary from midnight to 8 AM depending on freight. Pay The training base rate is $27.32 per hour , with a daily minimum of $283. After training, component pay based on miles, cases, and stops will apply. Key Responsibilities Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times. Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper signatures. Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable. Perform professional customer service to enhance client experience. Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections. Lift/carry/push/pull 20–80+ lbs of product repetitively each shift. Operate safely in inclement weather with frequent stops. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications. Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery. Preferred ability to operate manual transmission; may be required in specific locations. Proficient in English; able to read, communicate, and complete reports. Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse as required.
