$15.00 - $28.00/hr* Shift may start between 8:00am - 4:00pm Role summary Health and Beauty associate are focused on two things: taking care of the customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor and create seasonal display features to meet the needs of the customer. What you’ll do You will make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables our customers eat and feed to their families. You will work in our deli, bakery, or dry grocery department and perform the following duties. Work in our deli and be on the frontlines of customer service – your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. Work in our bakery – help a family have a great meal, decorate cakes, and help customers celebrate special moments. Work in our dry grocery department to ensure customers find the items they are looking for. Perform detailed cleaning of the shelves and department, checking and maintaining temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser quality food products. Maintain fresh food or grocery area standards and assist customers with ordering or product location. No matter which fresh food or grocery area you work in, these tasks will ensure a clean and organized environment for customers. What you’ll bring Help customers find the products they are looking for. Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
