Land Use Attorney

We are seeking a Land Use Attorney to join its municipal law team in Dallas . The firm represents local governmental entities across Texas in matters including annexation, zoning, land use, platting, economic development, public information, litigation, and real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
Advise cities and local government clients on zoning, planning, platting, subdivision, and land use matters
Draft and review ordinances, resolutions, development agreements, easements, and related documents
Counsel clients on annexation, ETJ issues, PIDs, TIRZs, economic development, and public infrastructure matters
Attend public meetings and support city councils, boards, commissions, and staff
Research and analyze municipal, land use, and real estate legal issues
Collaborate with attorneys and client teams on complex governmental matters
Qualifications
-J.D. from an accredited law school
-Licensed to practice law in Texas
-Experience in land use, zoning, municipal law, real estate, or local government preferred
-Strong writing, research, and public-facing communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple matters and provide practical, client-focused legal advice

Compensation is commensurate with experience and based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location.
