Warehouse Worker/Backup Delivery Driver

Plumb Supply Company is looking for a dependable person with a great attitude, attention to detail, and a team player to join their Ottumwa, Iowa team. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide great customer service by answering questions, placing, picking, and loading customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks using dollies, dolly carts, forklifts, and other tools as needed.
• Unload and inspect incoming product.
• Store and shift incoming stock.
• Make local deliveries to customers' shops or job sites
  
• Accurately use scanners to receive / put away / inventory & pull stock
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• General Warehouse duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Demonstrate an ability to create a positive work environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a DOT physical within 30 days of hire
• Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check)
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
