Senior Software Engineer

The work location is fully onsite at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) in St.Louis, Missouri. Job Responsibilities Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems Follow best practices to write well‑tested, high‑performing code Identify and resolve issues found in existing code Integrate capabilities with external services and tools Participate in code reviews and mentor team members Communicate status and technical details with customers Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant STEM field Active TS/SCI Security Clearance (required) 12+ years of experience writing, maintaining, debugging, and testing code Experience with RESTful web services Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Golang, C++, C#, Java, or JavaScript Experience with version control software (e.g., Git) Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA Required Skills Ability to communicate technical details of work Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership of project segments Strong oral, written, and organizational communication skills Open, team‑oriented, and eager to learn Desired Experience Containerized deployment such as Docker Document‑store databases such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, and MongoDB Kubernetes and Helm orchestration CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Pipelines, Argo CD, and/or Jenkins 5+ years working with military & intelligence systems (e.g., Maritime, Safety of Navigation, Precise Navigation & Timing, Geodetic, Geophysical, and photogrammetric sciences) Experience building and deploying software in the Intelligence Community Supporting intelligence community or DoD missions, especially within GEOINT environments Knowledge of geospatial technologies and data visualization techniques At least 5 years in geospatial data management, data governance, or data stewardship roles in a complex organization Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
