Desktop Support Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Technician – Hillsboro, OR ,for a 6 months Contract Rate Range: $25.00 - $31.00 P/HR.; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Role And Responsibilities 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring, testing, repairing, or supporting PCs, servers, or similar computer systems. Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, software applications, device drivers, and hardware. Experience with PC imaging, system deployment, cloning, backup, and recovery processes. Experience installing and upgrading PC hardware such as RAM, SSDs/HDDs, graphics cards, network adapters, and peripheral devices. Experience diagnosing and resolving PC hardware and software issues. Experience setting up and configuring servers or server-class hardware preferred. Experience with virus scanning, malware detection, and basic computer security practices. Experience working with BIOS/UEFI configuration, firmware, drivers, and hardware diagnostics preferred. Experience with software installation media creation, software burning, or image deployment processes preferred.
