Snapshot / Role Overview

We're looking for a Controls and Low Voltage Manager in Honolulu to lead building automation and low-voltage electrical installation across commercial projects.

Impact

Beat estimated productivity while holding quality.
Grow the technical skills of field technicians through mentoring.
Improve cash flow through tight material management and timely invoicing.
Earn the trust of owners, engineers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

Manage technicians and electricians on building automation and low-voltage projects.
Provide hands-on expertise for controls installation, startup, and commissioning.
Supervise daily field operations against estimated productivity.
Coordinate material needs and timing.
Identify change order opportunities and document them with sales.
Debug installation issues during static and dynamic startup.
Communicate with consulting engineers, owners, and other contractors.
Develop team members through goals, training, and reviews.

Must-Haves

Hands-on background in building automation controls installation and commissioning.
Experience supervising field technicians or electricians.
Ability to read plans and manage productivity to an estimate.

Nice-to-Haves

Low-voltage electrical licensing.
Niagara or similar platform certification.

Compensation and Logistics

Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Onsite in Honolulu.
