QA Test Engineer

DescriptionKforce has a client seeking a QA Test Engineer in Boca Raton, FL to support web application testing initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test solutions to ensure high-quality product delivery across sprint cycles. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an agile team.Key Responsibilities:* Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and sprint-level test cases* Develop and enhance automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright or Selenium* Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into clear, repeatable test scenarios* Validate system changes, identifying defects across functionality, UI, data, and performance* Perform backend validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy* Log, track, and verify defects using a bug tracking system* Support test planning, scheduling, and execution aligned with project timelines* Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle* Utilize version control tools (e.g., GitHub) to manage test assets* Contribute to CI/CD processes and continuous testing practices* Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiencyRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field* 2-5 years of experience in QA, software testing, or quality engineering* Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or BDD frameworks* Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)* Experience writing SQL queries for data validation* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)* Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamPreferred Skills:* Exposure to ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)* Knowledge of security and accessibility testing standards* Experience working in agile development environmentsJob TypeContractCompensation45 - $52
