Location: Parkland: 17th FLR BLK 600/n

*Must be able to complete 12-14 days of direct patient care training (ideally 4 days per work week for initial 2 weeks of scheduled patient care training) /n

Primary Purpose:/n
/n
/n Evaluates, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles of physical therapy in addition to providing leadership to Physical Therapy professional and support staff./n
/n
Education:/n
/n
/n
- Must have a degree in Physical Therapy from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
/n
/n
Experience:/n
/n
/n
- Must have two years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
/n
/n
Certification/Registration/Licensure:/n
/n
/n
- Must have current licensure with the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for Texas, or have temporary licensure in Texas.
/n
- Must have a current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card prior to hire and/or placement in job from one of the following:
/n
- American Heart Association
/n
- American Red Cross Rescuer
/n
- Military Training Network.
/n
/n
Skills or Special Abilities:/n

/n
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of physical therapy procedures and techniques.
/n
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written with patients, families, and hospital staff.
/n
- Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving ability.
/n
