Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days/Evenings Hours Per Week: 40-hour week

Location: Gloversville Urgent Care * Must be willing to float

Hiring Range: Starting at $25.50 hourly

The posted pay range contains shift differentials. This position is eligible for additional compensation based on the shifts worked.

• Weekday evening shift - additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour
• Weekday night shift - an additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour
• Weekend day shift an additional 10%
• Weekend evening & night shifts an additional 21%

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients.
• Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
• Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.

Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
