Investment Casting Operator I

Zimmer Biomet seeks an Investment Casting Operator I to perform assembly, inspection, and equipment operation in a manufacturing environment. The role involves working with casting equipment, monitoring product quality, and adhering to established procedures in a Warsaw, Indiana facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate wax molds, soldering guns, cut-off wheels, and automated casting machinery
- Assemble product components and prepare materials per specifications
- Visually inspect finished products for defects and quality issues
- Perform basic cleaning and maintenance on equipment
- Document operations, quantities completed, and communicate within work cell
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months foundry experience in cutoff, snag, or forming
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures
- Proficiency with thread gauges and basic mathematics
- Prior inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
