- Perform Diagnostic Imaging : Conduct radiologic imaging procedures (e.g., X-rays, CT scans) to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Operate Imaging Equipment : Use state-of-the-art imaging technology to capture clear, accurate images for medical analysis.
- Ensure Patient Safety : Follow strict protocols for patient positioning and safety during imaging procedures.
- Assist with Patient Care : Provide compassionate care to patients, explaining procedures and making them feel comfortable during their visit.
- Maintain Equipment : Regularly maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams : Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
- Education : Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Licensing : Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) , or ability to obtain ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
- Experience : Prior experience in a clinical imaging environment is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills : Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- BLS Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
