This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and proficiency with industry-standard tools and standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and perform electrical power system studies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Utilize advanced power system modeling software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, ASPEN, etc.) for analysis and design. Review, interpret, and develop one-line diagrams, schematics, and system models. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Collaborate with utilities, industrial clients, and project teams on system design, protection schemes, and interconnection requirements. Support system commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing activities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution ( Master’s degree preferred ). 10+ years of experience in electrical power system studies and design. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred ; ability to obtain PE required. Expert knowledge of power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, ASPEN, etc.). Strong knowledge of electrical systems from low to high voltage (up to 500kV). Familiarity with IEEE, NEC, NFPA 70E, NESC, and other relevant standards. Proven project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills—able to present complex technical concepts clearly. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems. Experience with transient stability, dynamic modeling, or renewable energy integration studies. Background in utilities, large industrial facilities, or electrical service providers. Hands-on field experience with commissioning, testing, or troubleshooting.
