Travel Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Occupational Therapist with hand therapy expertise and a minimum of 5 years of experience for a 13-week day shift assignment. Requirements OT license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Minimum 5 years of experience in an outpatient hand therapy setting required Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred but not required Expertise in splint fabrication for post-operative, acute, and chronic conditions required Experience treating orthopedic upper extremity diagnoses including post-operative conditions, acute injuries, workers compensation cases, and chronic disorders Skills in static, dynamic, and functional splinting including Orthoplast and serial/inhibitory splints Experience with modalities such as electrical stimulation, iontophoresis, ultrasound, TENS, and myofascial release preferred Proficiency in patient assessment, evaluation, plan of care, reassessment, and discharge documentation Responsibilities Oialty focus in OT Outpatient Hand Clinic Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM 13-week contract length Patient population ranges from pre-teens through geriatric individuals 1:1 patient ratio Epic EMR experience required Provide comprehensive outpatient hand therapy services including splint fabrication and rehabilitation for a range of upper extremity conditions Deliver patient and family education, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention guidance Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract Returning staff must have a 1-year separation period to be eligible to return as a traveler Re-orientation required only if previously oriented at this facility and separated for 6+ months Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
