Wellness Director / Director of Nursing (LPN) Job Summary: At Senior Suites at St. Clair Commons, our premier senior living community in St. Clairsville, Ohio, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you can join our leadership team as the Wellness Director / Director of Nursing. In this vital role, you'll oversee daily clinical operations, ensure resident well-being, and lead a team of dedicated caregivers. About the Role: As our Wellness Director / Director of Nursing, you'll be responsible for: Overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with Ohio Department of Health regulations and company policies Completing resident assessments, developing individualized service plans, and conducting ongoing care evaluations Coordinating physician orders, medication management, and resident healthcare services Supervising, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff, medication technicians, and caregivers Developing staff schedules and assisting with staffing needs to ensure appropriate coverage Participating in resident admissions, move-ins, care conferences, and discharge planning Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers Monitoring resident health status and responding appropriately to changes in condition Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and electronic health records Promoting a culture of teamwork, compassion, accountability, and exceptional customer service Requirements: Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing Previous leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare preferred Experience in assisted living, long-term care, memory care, or senior living strongly preferred Working knowledge of Ohio assisted living regulations and clinical compliance requirements Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems Ability to effectively lead and develop a multidisciplinary team We Offer: A competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Professional development and continuing education opportunities Supportive leadership team Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors every day #J-18808-Ljbffr Senior Suites at St. Clair Commons
