About the Position

Physical Therapist (PT) – Day Shift – Relocation Candidates Welcome

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services in an outpatient setting in Tucson, Arizona.

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients' physical abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support improved mobility, functional independence, and quality patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication skills, documentation abilities, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions, mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions to improve mobility and physical function.

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

• Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, mobility techniques, and rehabilitation goals.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

• Assist patients in improving strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence.

• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately.

• Maintain timely and accurate patient records in accordance with applicable standards.

• Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Maintain patient confidentiality, privacy, dignity, and respect.

Requirements

• Must meet applicable Arizona licensing requirements to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation preferred.

• Strong patient assessment and treatment planning skills.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.

• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

• Must complete all required onboarding documentation before starting the assignment.

• Previous employment with ATI Physical Therapy may require rehire eligibility verification.

• Must be available for the scheduled day shift.

• Ability to complete the full 26-week contract assignment.
