Position Overview The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Senior Public Service Adminstrator. Essential Functions Serves as Statewide Child Welfare Employee Licensure (CWEL) Administrator. Plans, directs, and administers the OLPD Child Welfare Employee Licensure Complaint process. Schedules, attends, and facilitates all Emergency Licensure Review Team and CWEL Board Meetings. Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate staff. Develops, implements, and monitors CWEL Program Best Practice Policies, Rules, and Procedures. Serves as a principal spokesperson for the CWEL Program before internal and external stakeholders and othergovernmental entities. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumeratedabove. Minimum Qualifications Requires graduation from an accredited law school and possession of a valid license to practice law in Illinois. Requires four years of administrative experience in the practice of law. Preferred Qualifications 4 years' experience managing or administering a program or service in a private or private organization. 3 years' experience supervising professional staff who are responsible for administering a complex, highly regulatedprogram. 4 years experience in the development and implementation of rules, policies, and procedures. 4 years professional experience in the oversight of a large program with multiple sites or teams of subordinate staff atdifferent locations.
