Job Description Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Assistant Unit Managers I . Assistant Unit Managers I are the first supervisory level in the nursing series responsible for assisting a Unit Manager with the management and supervision of a Medical/Surgical, Telemetry or Postpartum Unit. Duties include assigning and reviewing work, overseeing staffing, administering and recommending discipline, serving as the first level in the grievance process, and assisting with day‑to‑day clinical operations of a patient care unit or service on a designated shift and performing charge nurse duties. All Assistant Unit Manager I positions are assigned to the Night Shift . Current vacancy in the Stroke Unit . Compensation and Benefits Bi‑Annual Step Increases of 2.5% Excellent benefits package for the employee and dependents. Annual salary up to $135,470 when Modified Benefits Option is selected (depending on qualifications). Minimum Requirements Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Two (2) years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a hospital setting. Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Issued by the American Heart Association) and certifications/courses required by unit.
