Our organization is currently looking for a full-time Physician-CBOC Section Chief to join our team in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in women's health and primary care, with prior supervisory or leadership experience being highly desirable. Key Features of This Position:

• Starting base salary range: $280K - $310K
• Permanent full-time role
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Clinical Responsibilities:
The Physician will conduct and document comprehensive history and physical examinations, as well as record data from patient visits. Responsibilities include evaluating, consulting, diagnosing, and managing a panel of primary care patients. The Physician will enter progress notes into the electronic medical record system and ensure timely completion of workload documentation. Medical care will cover both acute and chronic conditions, along with preventive care for male and female veterans. The role also involves ordering relevant diagnostic tests, medications, and laboratory tests for each patient.

Administrative Duties:
As the Section Chief, you will act as the primary contact for Primary Care leadership concerning clinic program management. This includes meeting with providers in assigned clinics to address issues and relay information from leadership. You will also communicate with veterans and their families regarding Congressional correspondence, White House Hotline complaints, Patient Advocate concerns, and VISN inquiries related to care from assigned clinics, ensuring all PATS-R submissions are completed. Additionally, you will conduct interviews for potential hires in your clinic areas and provide training for new providers. Clinical and administrative responsibilities are expected to be split evenly at 50%, with adjustments made based on organizational needs.
