Accounting Analyst
Location: Bartlesville, OK
Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid — 1–2 days/week work from home available after initial training period; must be onsite immediately before and after the August 1st Rail system go-live
Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
- Start: June 29, 2026
- Pay Rate: $32.00–$38.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Days (1st shift)

Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting service provider oversight and freight billing operations including invoice processing, invoice resolution, monthly reconciliations, and related accrual activities. Other responsibilities include project support and process improvement initiatives aligned with corporate strategic priorities. This role acts as an escalation point for the offshore team that processes invoices.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and processing freight-related invoices
- Preparing and reporting account reconciliations for liabilities
- Collaborating with Commercial and Rail businesses to support positive business relationships and key initiatives
- Developing subject matter expertise in Freight Payables and the related business value chain
- Designing and delivering training
- Providing feedback and coaching
- Auditing performance quality
- Identifying and researching process and knowledge gaps
- Assisting with work prioritization
- Leading and supporting projects
- Testing upgrades and changes in SAP and other systems
Required Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Eager to learn with an upbeat, positive attitude
Preferred Skills
- Freight experience preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Required Experience
- 3 years of Payables experience
